Halloo,

Many people know or have heard of Raw Shea Butter, but there are still some people who do not know the many benefits of using this raw butter for skincare and hair care.

Please let me say a few words and leave it open for others to contribute their knowledge, experience, and info in the comment box below.

If you have ever laid your hands on Authentic African Raw Shea Butter you will agree with me that this natural raw body butter can rival many expensive Moisturisers in the market.

Anybody who is not familiar with what real Shea butter is may be fooled by this. But a true African will know what real Shea butter look like, feel like, and smell like. Most are so hard that they will not absorb into the skin on application, unlike Authentic raw Shea butter that gets absorbed quickly into the skin and melts at body temperature.

Authentic Raw Shea Butter should be either yellow or ivory in colour. It should be soft like butter, even if it appears hard a gentle pressure should make a dent. It should smell earthy, not the most pleasant smell I admit, but this is the smell of original raw Shea butter.

African Shea Butter comes from the natural fat obtained from the Karite tree grown in West and Central Africa. It is very rich in unsaturated fats and other properties. No wonder it is considered a superfood for skin; filled with beneficial nutrients

Raw African Shea Butter should softens, smooths, hydrates, and heal the skin and hair because it contains stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, vitamin E, beta carotin, allantoin, it is high in essential fatty acid, and a great source of Vitamin A.

Raw Shea Butter is very natural; made by hands without any harmful chemicals. It is so gentle that delicate and sensitive skin is okay with it. That is why it is popularly used on newborn babies, in fact, it is a popular barrier cream in preventing nappy rash.
