Halloo,

Have you noticed how easy it is to be labelled a Fake Person these days?

You Have? Thank God, I thought it’s only me. Phew!!!

What is that all about? I mean just because your life is a mess, doesn’t mean you can’t projects positivity.

Beyourself

Nobody wants to be around gloom and doom. I know that for sure.

At least, that is what I think. But the Wailers think otherwise. They are of the opinion that I make some people unhappy when they see my contents. That my posts make them think that I have this great perfect life.

Surprised? You have no idea how long I searched for my jaw on the floor after being confronted with this one.

Great Life? News to me too. Perfect Life???? Absurd!!!!

When do we start taking responsibility for our thoughts?

You want people to feel guilty for your interpretations? It is like telling them to stop living so that you can feel comfortable. Ridiculous!

Check these…

A picture of a smiling lady- she is called fake because she suffers from depression. She needs permission to smile?

A picture of a man standing in front of expensive cars– He is fake because those are not his cars. So, he likes cars, he is not allowed to take pictures with them?

A picture of a happy couple- They are fake because they fight a lot. They don’t deserve any moments of happiness?

Why? Why? Why? Where does it end?

I mean if you see a picture of me at the beach, what will be your thought? That I own the beach? This is beyond believe sometimes.

STRENTH

A body is not allowed to do whatever needed to be done to be happy?

How about you just live your own life? Let all these people simply live theirs. Just a thought!

If somebody’s posts or contents bother you too much, unfollow the person or move away from online platforms. Many people did and they are doing okay.

Here is a very recent example of something that happened to me. Your honest opinion is needed in the comment box below.

My online small business recently won Product of the year at the Extraordinary African Woman Achiever Award ceremony. An amazing achievement. I was over the moon.

I received this news in bed. I had been seriously sick for days. Not one to miss an opportunity to promote my business. I get working on my social media platforms.

I shared this news on my many online platforms. Friends and families came out online to celebrate with me.

This cheered me up so much.

soul

Little did they know that I was very very sick. In fact, this particular episode was the worst episode for me in years. I was at rock bottom health wise. Things were pretty messed up.

A few days after I had to cancel an engagement with somebody. I explained that I wasn’t feeling too good, that in fact, my health hadn’t been good for weeks before then.

This individual told me that I am lying. That she saw my social media posts celebrating. That doesn’t look to her as someone who is sick. This person practically called me a liar, implying that I am fake.

I just walked away and stop explaining myself. Something I have learnt to do to unreasonable people. They don’t deserve my time.

I think what most people don’t know about Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain is that you can be fine one minute and totally sick the next minute. One of my main reasons for writing about Invisible illness is this.

I want to let you know what those who go through it are dealing with, so you can be kinder when dealing with them.

Now, let me ask you this question? Am I fake person because of this? Because I refused to wallow? and do the poor me routine? Which by the way I was doing, just doing it privately.

I will completely understand if you said YES. I am a big girl I can take it.

I am online every day promoting my business, even on days when my world seems about to end.

So it is hard for anyone to know if I am okay health-wise or not, but that is fine with me. Because my aim and objective of being online is to promote my work.

I have never shied away from talking about my health problems, so I think anybody who thinks I have a perfect life or is jealous of my life should have their head examined.

I said it before, and I will say it again- that you can tell a lot about a person from their social media posts. Read my views on this here

The trick is what are you looking for? Everything can’t be your cup of tea, so be selective.

If you are hell-bent on seeing fake, or negativity in everything, that is what you will always see.

I am not saying there are no fake people. I am just saying..Ain’t we all fake one way or another?

Shakespeare says “All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant, Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms.”

Relax! And follow those who make you happy. If your intentions are pure and you are properly aware of why you are following a certain person. I don’t think you can go far astray.
