Halloo,

It’s been a while since I share a homemade skincare recipe. I thought since we are heading into the weekend why not treat our lovely faces to a soothing homemade face mask? Join me, please.

Almost any organic food from our kitchens can be added to make a face mask. It all depends on your skin type or the skin concerns you may have. I think our facial skin may be tired and dull due to the lockdown and in need of TLC.

I am going to choose ingredients that are good for brightening the skin, treating dark spots, and generally preventing or delaying the signs of ageing showing for a long time. Tell me, which woman will have anything against that?

Ingredients Needed For The Anti-Ageing Face Mask

1 Teaspoon- Camwood Powder

Camwood Healing Powder is particularly common among West Africans, especially Nigerian. This herbal powder is really great in clearing skin problems and it is now being embraced by many to achieve flawless skin, myself included. Read more on this powder here.

Make The Anti-Ageing Face Mask

  • If your oats are in flakes, use a mortar and pestle to turn them into powder or almost powder.
  • Some honey is hard due to the weather, try to stand it in a bowl of hot water to get it running.
  • Citric Acid needs to be crushed to powder form
  • Some Camwood Powder comes in pellets, so crushed to powder
  • Mix all the ingredients together to form an even smooth paste
  • Your Anti-ageing face mask is ready.

TO USE– Very simple, make sure your face is clean. Massage the mixture onto your face. Cover your entire face with it. Leave it on for about 20 minutes. Wash off thoroughly with warm water. Look in the mirror for that clean clear face. This will last you for a week or more depending on your other skincare routines. Thank me later; very important. QED!

Things don’t have to be complicated to be effective. Simple things are the best in my opinion. We have been fed the idea that only those things from the laboratories can deliver desired results. Make and use this face mask and many other homemade recipes and be amazed at the results.

What are you waiting for? Get making darling.
