Halloo,

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I am still going to say what I have been saying for years- You can never be too careful about the skincare products that you put on your skin. That is why I always encourage people to make their own skincare products. It is what I do.

Relying on skincare products from the stores is convenient, I know, but at what cost? And I am not talking just monetary value. I am talking about the whole danger and mystery that surround these store-bought skincare products.

If you have been reading my blog or follow me on any of my social media pages you will know that I have been making my own skincare products for years with nothing too complicated than raw butter, carrier oils, and essential oils. My family and I use these homemade skincare products daily and our skin has never been better. I also save money doing this.

It is not that difficult to make your own homemade beauty products if you put your mind to it and you value your health highly. My approach is to keep it simple and be consistent. It is highly rewarding in so many ways. Even your mental health will benefit a lot from seeing what you created.

The feeling of achievement is immense when you create your own beauty products, I am telling you. Even more when you start seeing positive results. Try it, please.

Do a little research into natural ingredients to see what they can do for you, then make an informed choice on how to proceed. Don’t rush, remember slow and steady wins the race. I think a little research is important, know why you are using something not just because someone says it’s good for you. I know we are all very busy, but this little time spent doing this yield a huge reward.

Research and discover non-toxic natural ingredients, preferably plant-based ingredients. So, when you are making your skin look radiant, you are doing so with your health in mind.

Our skin is the biggest organ in our bodies, and our skin absorbs ingredients from skincare products into our bloodstreams. Won’t it be common sense to apply the most natural ingredients as skincare then?

Synthetic ingredients are created to deliver fast results, some of these fast results end up creating problems in the long. Some of them clogged the pores, disrupt hormonal activities, and create real dangers for the environment.

Most natural ingredients contain nutrients naturally found in our bodies; they are not aliens produced in laboratories. They contain nutrients, vitamins, and essential fatty acids that are natural gifts from nature.
