Halloo,

I hope you don’t still believe that for you to have gorgeous healthy hair you have to go spend a fortune in hairdressing salons? What our hair needs is time, commitment, and healthy habits.

Some of us, especially those with dry-skin, may be struggling with itchy scalp with white flakes, it could be a sign of Dry Scalp? YES! It is possible.

Dry Scalp may be the reason your hair is not growing properly if left untreated for long the hair will start thinning and falling off. Who wants that?

Let’s look at these 5 simple home remedies that can be used to introduce nutrients and moisture to the scalp which will help the overall health and appearance of the hair.

ARGAN HOT OIL TREATMENT

Do this at night. Take a few drops of Argan Oil and warm it up, then apply it to your scalp and massage it in, cover your head and leave it overnight. Wash off next morning. This will relieve the dry scalp by providing the much-needed hydration. Hot oil treatment has a moisturizing effect on the scalp.

TEA TREE OIL SHAMPOO

Adding a few drops of Tea tree oil to your regular shampoo is really great for treating dry scalp.  Tea tree oil unclogs the pores and helps to regulate the natural oil production. Tea tree is a strong antifungal agent that will rid the scalp off any impurities.

ALOE VERA HAIR MASK

Aloe vera gel or Aloe vera juice can be used for this mask. cover your hair and scalp with it and massage in properly. Leave it in for like 20 minutes and wash your hair as usual. This is very soothing for dry and itchy scalp. Because Aloe Vera is rich in Amino Acids, Vitamins, Sugars, and Fatty Acids it will give healthy scalp and hair.

BAKING SODA & ROSEWATER

Make a paste with Rosewater and Baking Soda, rub this on your scalp and massage in, then wash off with cool water after few minutes.   Baking soda has antiseptic and antibacterial properties, it is also an exfoliant which will help to restores the scalp PH balance. This combination will help the scalp produce natural oil for hydration.

VITAMIN E OIL MASSAGE

Vitamin E Oil improves blood circulation when used regularly.  Massage your scalp a few times a week with some drops of Vitamin E Oil. This brilliant oil is known to protect the scalp from free radical while hydrating the scalp.

I see no reason why you won’t have healthy hair once you clean your hair regularly with healthy and quality shampoos and conditioners. Wash according to where you live; people in the cities with more exposure to pollution will have to wash more often than those in rural areas. Moisturize your hair and scalp properly with really healthy products, very necessary. Don’t forget to eat well and supplement too with vitamins.
