Toledo is a city located in central Spain. It is a UNESCO declared World Heritage Site because of its rich monumental and cultural heritage.

Toledo is also known as the ‘City OF The Three Cultures‘ because of the historical-cultural influences of Christians, Muslims, and Jews.

I simply love the ancient wall of the gate at the entrance to Toledo city. It is interesting.

So many shops selling Handmade Steel Jewelry and fashion accessories. I even saw an artisan making jewelry with steel. How cool is that!

Toledo is famous for high-quality sword-making and metal-work. There are lots of shops still selling impressive looking swords, knives, and other steel products. You can buy them as souvenirs. Good luck getting them through custom at airports.

Toledo City’s climate is mostly dry and sunny throughout the year. The brightness and natural beauty of this ancient city are breathtaking

Toledo is a real joy to explore on foot, in the evening when the sun is down, it is very calm. So many alleys. A lot of cobblestoned streets. And so many ancient landmarks, stone bridges, monuments, buildings, and museums to see.

The medieval feel of this city is real. I almost feel like I was walking unto a Hollywood film set in some instances. Do add Toledo as one of the interesting places to visit in Spain. You can make it a day tour if you are holidaying in Madrid.

Finding what to eat in Toledo is very easy . there are lots of different restaurants serving both local and international food.

The Picturesque Toledo City in Spain is every Nature-Lover’s dream.
