Halloo,

I think it’s sometimes necessary to get away from it all. What do you think? Especially now that we have all been locked indoors for weeks. We need joyful things to look forward to.

Things will hopefully return back to normal soon, or as close to normal as possible. When this happened, you should look for some really nice quiet places to go with your loved ones for breaks without breaking the bank.

Go somewhere, away from the city life, away from the rat race, go somewhere where the air is pure and there is barely WIFI, so you will barely look at your phone. I like doing that. I wish I can do it more often, but life and resources won’t let me.

But there are places in Ireland where you can do just that. One of such places is ‘Hidden Valley’. A place close to nature at reasonable money,

Hidden Valley is rightly named in my opinion. This place is tucked away in the Wicklow Mountain. Up there the air is so fresh, that an overnight stay will have your soul calm, now imagine staying a whole weekend, BLISS!

Go with the right attitude and you will derive more pleasure from it than most exotic holidays. As I always say to people, it is not where you go that will bring enjoyment, it is the attitude you bring with you to that place that will determine how much enjoyment you derive out of the place.

Hidden Valley is in a nice clean environment. With different types of Cabin to choose from. In summer a lot of people come to Hidden Valley to Camp. A beautiful sight to see. You see people getting close to nature. Washing their clothes in the stream, cooking outside their tents. Children playing in the river.

A perfect way to show your children they can have so much fun without the numerous technologies and gadgets they are addicted to these days.

There are Toilet facilities for those camping. There is also a kitchen area for those who wants to cook properly.

Apart from the fresh air, you can have boat rides in the safe water in the location. There is also a playground for children and young adults.

In summer, there are so many activities like Zorball, Wall Climbing, Crazy Golfs, Boat Rides, Paddling.

I prefer going to Hidden Valley in Spring because it is not that crowded like summertime. Though there aren’t that many activities to do for the children in spring but we make up our own activities. We sometimes bring our bikes and ride. Sometimes we have a family race, which I always come last no matter how much I try.

We also take walks down to the village close by. They have this really great restaurant in the village that serves gorgeous foods. The village is really cute and the uphill walk to it is very healthy and interesting.

Now if you love taking photos like me, Hidden Valley will be a joy to you. You can’t get enough of things to take picture of.
