To Those Who Refused To Conform

Halloo,

Cheers to all kindred spirits who refused to conform to society definition of who they are and who they should be. You got a friend in me. I am with you. I am one of you. I am proud of my individuality.

I am no stranger to the many rules and regulations that govern our lives. The ridiculous norms that many are protecting for some strange reasons.

I am not a fan of rules. I think mostly because those interpreting them or administering them take liberties and twist them to serve their purposes.

I prefer to live my life with guidance from my heart, instincts, and general good judgements.

These make many people nervous. That I am anti establishment and a dangerous person.

Maybe!

I just believe that completely submitting to an ideology is a dangerous thing. When you really dig deep no matter how much you love the idea there should be part that don’t sit right with you.

But many people will tell you that shouldn’t be the case. You should follow the idea in complete absolute.

And there lies the danger in our society in my opinion.

The fear planted in our hearts, or the fear of being ostracized by a group is what make some people stick to an idea even when their souls are crying NO.

Rules are supposed to make our lives better and easier but I am afraid it is doing the opposite.

Rigidity and bigotry is what many now considered as morality. To them being good and kind to your fellow human being is not enough.

You must follow all their rules, no matter how ridiculous some of those rules are, to be considered part of them.

Well I did that for a long time, not anymore.

I follow rules that make sense to me now.
