Read Time:3 Minute, 37 Second

Halloo,

Let’s be honest it is the same 24 hours in a day you have other people have too. So, how do they manage to do so many things you wished you can do but somehow never get the chance or time to do?

Yes, we don’t all have the same opportunities, resources, and chances. We may not be able to do some things some people can do based on some of these factors. But, don’t let time and your inability to budget it wisely be what is holding you back.

I have seen a lot of people who trek about on social media, commenting on trashy chat shows everywhere. Getting involved, passionately, in online fights that have nothing to do with them. The same people will tell you they don’t have time to go for a walk every day to promote their health.

If you don’t want to go for a walk, don’t go for a walk. But please don’t blame it on lack of time. It just doesn’t wash. The only meaning to it is you don’t consider your health important enough.

Some people would rather spend valuable time digging through other people’s profiles, comparing their life with that of others, judging on things they have absolutely no idea about other than acting like a CCTV camera and Hercule Poirot rolled into one.

The time spent comparing your life to that of others can be utilized for more positive thoughts and activities like planning where you will like to see yourself in 5 years. This is how to build self-worth.

Time spent working on your own life goals is never a waste. Working on yourself is never a waste. You will be too busy to even notice what is going on in another person’s life.

How can you avoid being envious of another person when all you do with your own time is to watch that person’s life in detail like you are about to write an examination on the person’s life. You are not living your life, rather you are living that person’s life.

Simple self-love activities can be carried out daily and time spent on these is to boost confidence. These activities might be as simple as taking steps to dress differently, speaking up more, laughing louder, or speaking more freely.

You can also use your time to analyze how your life is going and take steps to redirect your life if you think it is necessary.

You have choices. Your power is to examine these choices and decide on a path. Be aware, that you may make a mistake in your chosen path but constant check-in will help discover this and you can retrace your steps as many times as possible until you are satisfied. Your life, your rule.

Determine your goals. Most of us have no goal, no ambition. Just working with no directions. Use your time to find a purpose, a goal, an ambition. When you finally get one that makes your heart beat faster, then determine the actions to realize the goal.

Time wasted monitoring other people’s activities, especially online, should be exhausting. Use that time to discover what matters to you and your soul.

It is simple really, focus on your own journey and what others do will have little or no impact on you.

Take time to understand who you are.

Taking control over how you manage and utilize your time is so powerful. Create time to think. Create time to develop yourself. Create time to do things you enjoy. Create time to love yourself. Create time to do all the things that matter to you. Or create time to simply breathe!
